So I went down to see my buddy Alex over at Saving Grace yesterday. We have been working on my full arm coverup for a while now and it’s finally starting to look amazing. Alex is really rad guy, not only did he open up the shop just for me on his day off but he does so much work on me for next to nothing its insane. Its pretty cool how this friendship all started off with one “my little pony” tattoo, hahah. Anyways after another 3 hrs on my lower arm and a shit load of sea foam green, my coverup is moving at a very nice speed and just in time cause short sleeve shirts are just around the corner.
I am super stoked to have Saving Grace involved in the “Skate Or Lie” event on June 4th. They will be open that night doing Mike Giant skate flash for $50 bux to anyone who goes to the event. Super rad, and with 20 pieces of flash to choose from, your chances of getting an awesome tattoo are very good!

Saturday I began the long road to covering up my entire arm with a new tattoo. I got my half sleeve in early 2000 by an inexperienced artist, but I myself was inexperienced in knowing what to look for at the time. I did like my Ganesha tattoo, but there was clearly room for something a lot better. I then proceeded to get my lower sleeve done. Now don’t get me wrong, I loved my Lucky Charms tattoo. It was the birth of me getting “joke” tattoos, and it got so many compliments over the years. I knew covering up both tattoos would be a huge bitch and more so would be a really dark tattoo. Something I had to get a grip on and understand. After talking about options with my amazing artist Alex K over at Saving Grace, we decided upon a really kick ass Zombie piece. This will be a process over the next few sessions to get my arm ready for t-shirt weather. But Im going to bring you along, starting with the brutal 5hr lining and colour session, OUCH!

Chances are if you have visited the Mishka Bloglin you have seen some of Ellen Stagg’s posts. She’s the amazing NYC photographer responsible for the 2010 Mishka Calendar I posted about a week or so back. She takes hott tattooed and un-tattooed chicks and makes them even hotter. I have never been a huge fan of sites like Gods Girls or Suicide Girls, but what Ellen manages to do with the snap of her camera blows them away and takes Stagg Street to another level. Ellen captures pix of the hottests of the hott, and she herself is a stunning beauty.
I posted a pic below but if you wanna see more (like you don’t) head over to Stagg Street, and thank me later!!
I know he is short, gay and wears skirts but Marc Jacobs may be my new hero. He’s covered in stupid tattoos. Most recent, “Bros Before Hos” hahahahahaah amazing.
Sometimes boyfriends & girlfriends get matching tattoos. And when your this in love, it’s “true love”. Hahaha and yes I have a Hello Kitty tattoo WHAT!
