A Night To Remember

My homegirl Ashley from Victory and my boys in A Day To Remember hooked me up with some all access passes for the show a few nights ago. I had been so stoked on this tour since it was announced in February. I hit up the show with my usual crime partners Ryan and Juliana, sweet night fo sho. August Burns Red was epic I love that band, how could I not, after all the blog is named after one of their best songs. I spoke with Jake, ABR lead singer for a while on side stage, we talked about cameras (his and mine) and the blog. It was way cool. I got some amazing pix of him during their performance, so much energy and passion. Me and Alex kicked it for a bit b4 ADTR did their thing as well, it had been a minute since we were together in the same room. One of things I really dig about Alex is he may be young but his skillz are amazing. Standing side stage watching him drum was intense. It was an amazing set and night with my boys and fav band. BIG B

My homie Bryan aka Big B rolled through on tour last night with Sonata Arctica, so Ryan and I went to go kick it with him. I have been waiting to hang with him since last Nov when he was last here. Its crazy how much you miss your friends when they are on tour and you don’t get to see them often. Anyways, it was epic hangouts, poutine, metal and good friends. Big surprise of the night. PowerGlove. Where the fuck did this band come from? Crazy getups, all instrumental video game metal. Yea, thats what I said. I am completely blown away. Go to their MySpace page and listen to the Tetris song. Boom, pure metal genius.
