John K, master of cartoon history and creator of the Ren and Stimpy animated series asks the world of Ren and Stimpy original art collectors to help him make a big fat book! Lend your original works for a scan and get a credit in the book! If you’ve got any original Ren and Stimpy artwork, that means hand-drawn, painted, otherwise, and would be so gracious as to let John K scan it at high-rez so as to print it in the up n coming Spumco book, that’d be great!

If you’re a bike enthusiast like me, you will find this next post cool. I found this rad blogspot called The Bicycle Safari. It collects photographs of the old and unusual bicycles on the streets of Sweden. Plenty of sweet old bike logos and rad bike graphics. Check it out.
If you’re a fan of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 like I am, and enjoy classic side-scrolling games, you owe it to yourself to download Call of Duty 6 – an action-packed fan-made 2D tribute to the game. Canadian Heavy Metal band, Hail the Villain, has launched its album, Population: Declining, with a creative interactive website that is designed by Grand Creative. The website has various aspects that would attract the internet users such as fiddling with people’s wallets for clues, turn on the radio in one of the cars on the street to listen to excerpts of the band’s songs, record video messages through your webcam for the band members and visitors, take a photo to become one of the members in the Book of Souls and so on. Social media has saved quite a few companies and brands that were about the become extinct such as Starbucks and Pepsi. We will see if interactive and social media can boost the fate of this Canadian Heavy Metal band.

My homie Ace over at Knockaround, hooked me up with some stellar new glasses. 6 pairs of the Premiums and Fort Knocks in every colour imaginable including glow in the dark!! Super excited about these as the weather has started to get bright out there. These are hands down some of the best glasses I have ever received on this blog, and the price point is just right. Started in 2005 in Virginia and quickly moving operation to sunny So Cal, Knockaround which started off with 4 colours in 08 now gives you 16 to choose from. Continuing to expand with new models, new colors, and new non-sunglass accessories, each new Knockaround product goes through a standard checklist of qualifications. Operations have moved once again, this time out of the garage and into a warehouse just 1.5 miles from the Pacific Ocean. Stay tuned, Knockaround has big things in the works. Definetley head over to the Knockaround site, Im sure you can find a pair of glasses that will fit your taste an wallets budget.
20 never seen photos of Steve McQueen were released by Life Magazine. These shots were taken by photographer John Dominis who spent 3 weeks with McQueen and his wife. During that time, he was able to capture some very candid pictures of the actor… Persols, Rolex, 357 Magnum, scuffed white sneakers and a Coors beer while hanging out at home.
