RIP Jimmy
You know this year has taken away alot of celebrities and artists, but none hit home as hard as this one. My friend Jimmy died Monday from what they are saying is natural causes. You might know him as The Rev/drummer of Avenged Sevenfold, but I knew him as a brother and a friend. He was a great drummer, and a great dude. I had the pleasure of touring with A7X back in 2005. For me that was a huge highlight in my touring days, as at the time I was the biggest fan. I can remember being home in Montreal after our show at the Metropolis, and me, Jimmy, and Brian (Synyster) went to Super Sex. This was right after the release of City Of Evil, and this hooker was dancing to Bat Country. Jimmy jumped up on stage and started dancing hahah, screaming “thats my song!!!” as the bouncer tossed us all out. I saw Jimmy and the guys a few more times after that. Hung out at the Revolver Magazine shoot, and even made a small appearance on their DVD release, but with me quitting touring and them constantly touring hangouts were not often possible. I literally spoke to him a few weeks ago, we talked shit, talked Brooke and talked about the new album. I don’t really have any more words right now, Im deeply saddened. This fuckin sucks!
